Liquid-gated Field-effect-transistor Based on Chemically Reduced Graphene Oxide for Sensing Neurotransmitter Acetylthiocholine

In this work, an enzymatic liquid-gated field-effect-transistor sensor based on chemically reduced graphene oxide film was develop for determination of acetylthiocholine in aqueous conditions. The device designed with interdigitated electrode configuration and then manufactured by combining lithography chemical vapor deposition techniques clean room. Graphene material (prepared Hummer method) using a strong reducing agent hydrazine, drop-casted onto the channel region. results have demonstrated successful reduction clearly shifting 02 characteristic peaks comparing oxide. Consequently, transfer curve as-prepared transistor exhibits ambipolar characteristics V-shape. Acetylcholinesterase immobilized top aid glutaraldehyde trapping agent. It found that release proton from hydrolysis has caused significant variation charge concentration mobility channel, thus generated blue shift position Dirac point curve. developed good sensing performances LOD 250 µM range 0 – 0.8 mM.
